Barbara Stewart Kight, 66, of the 2000 block of Phyllis Drive, passed away July 26, 1996, in her daughter's home.
Mrs. Kight, a native of Norfolk, retired from A&D Produce as a secretary. She was the widow of Elmer Wilson Kight Jr. Mrs. Kight was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star Berkley Chapter (NU)52.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie-Lynn K. Hearl of Chesapeake, Regina K. and her husband, Allan D. Larkowski, of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren, J.P. Hearl and Patrick J. Larkowski, both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, with the Rev. Horace A. Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. and at the residence all other times. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
