Dorothy Dell Hunsucker, of the 2700 block of Conrad Ave., died July 28, 1996, in Waynesville, N.C.
Mrs. Hunsucker, a native of Wilkes County, N.C., was a member of Alexander Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Hunsucker; three daughters, Sandra Hinton of Baltimore, Md., Renee Fix of Duncan, S.C., Cindee Maynard of Chesapeake; six sisters, Polly Minton of Wilkesboro, N.C., Nora Walker and Ann Moore of Maravian Falls, N.C., Lill Neilsen of Ellendale, N.C., Ella Bratten of Thomasville, N.C., Pearl Smith of Lexington, N.C.; a brother, Guy Pilkington of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by Dr. Roscoe A. Musselwhite and the Rev. John Burr in Alexander Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Loving Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alexander Baptist Church Building Fund, 3801 Turnpike Road, Portsmouth, 23701.
