Lucille Deloise ``Doll Baby'' Land, of the 1800 block of Carswell St., died July 26, 1996, in a local hospital.
She retired from the environmental service department at Lake Taylor Hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and attended New Bethel Church of God In Christ, Norfolk.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond E. Land and Thomas M. Land, both of Norfolk; her mother, Lucille L. Spratley of Norfolk; a brother, Aaron Land of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son, James Land.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by Elder Anthony Lillard in New Bethel Church of God In Christ, 7317 Evelyn Butts Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1823 Carswell St., Norfolk, Wednesday at noon for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge.
