SAM G. SPINDEL

Sam Gary Spindel, 51, of Plantation, Fla., passed away suddenly on July 26, 1996.

Born in Norfolk, he will be missed by his wife, Melanie; two sons, Michael of Salt Lake City and Marc of Plantation, Fla.; a daughter, Jodi of Plantation; mother and father, Irving and Esther Spindel of Dania, Fla.; two brothers, Steve Spindel of Portsmouth and Ronald Spindel of Virginia Beach; nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

He was a 1964 graduate of Frederick Military Academy in Portsmouth. He owned and operated Commonwealth Plumbing, Inc. He was the past president and state director of the Florida Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors of Broward County. He served nine years with the Central Examining Board of Plumbers. He gave generously of his time during his twelve years as a Mason member and senior deacon of the Triangle Lodge No. 392, F.&A.M. He was also an active member of Miami Scottish Rite Temple as well as the Mahi Shrine.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Masonic Home in St. Petersburg, Fla. or to the charity of your choice.
