Gov. James B. Hunt Jr. has named Norman Bradford of Nags Head to the Marine Fisheries Commission, the agency that sets the rules and regulations for saltwater fishing in North Carolina.
Bradford, a recreational fisherman, moved to the Outer Banks from Northern Virginia after retiring as a high school principal. He has served for several years as an advisory member of the agency, and has been involved in fisheries activities. by CNB
