DISTRICT A

Breaking and entering, 5500 block Cavalier Road, July 22, a woman who earlier reported a key to her residence missing reported several items now missing from the house. Included are a Remington 1100 .12 gauge shotgun, jewelry and money.

Petty Larceny, 8700 block Adams Drive, July 22, someone removed a small brown purse containing money, a driver's license and a Social Security card from the front seat of a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 8700 block Adams Drive East, July 22, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed money from the glove compartment.

Motor vehicle theft, 5000 Dorothy Lane, July 23, someone removed a white, '95 Chrysler LeBaron convertable that had been left unlocked and with keys in the ignition.

DISTRICT B

Unauthorized use, 5000 block Pruden Blvd., July 22, someone removed a purple '95 Nissan pickup truck without permission.

DISTRICT C

Petty larceny, 500 block Ashley Ave., July 18, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

Throwing missiles, 700 block Brook Ave., July 22, someone reports that a rock was thrown through the front window of her home.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 300 block York St., July 18, someone removed a green Weedeater lawn mower by bending open the doors of a shed.

Armed robbery, 1100 block Cogic Square, July 20, someone assaulted a man and attempted to rob him. The victim ran to a friend's apartment.

Stolen firearm, 200 block Woodrow Ave., July 22, someone removed a Raven

Petty larceny, 300 block Ben St., July 22, someone removed a city decal from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Maple St., July 22, on returning home, a woman heard noise inside her house. She went to a neighbor's home and called police. The glass had been broken out of the door. Dresser drawers had been opened and ransacked, and a game system had been tampered with.

Grand larceny, 400 block Carolina Road, July 22, someone removed a .45 caliber handgun from an unlocked vehicle.

Detective D.J. Greene is asking for help to find the persons who

burglarized a local business.

Early in July, someone entered Pruden Packing Co., in the 1200

block of North Main St. The thieves removed eight boxes of hams,

about 225 in all.

A similar burglary happened at Felts Packing Co. in Zuni, about

the same time.
