Upon reading the editorial comments concerning ``gun-control'' working to prevent crime within the United States, I would like to remind all citizens of the facts about ``gun-control.''
Those who think that banning guns/ ammunition completely and or making the sale or ownership of a gun by a law-abiding citizen illegal is a way to lower the nation's crime rate should remember: The only way to make this nation safer is to enforce the laws already on the books, including truth in sentencing, no parole or early release, no plea bargaining and holding individuals responsible for their crimes, as well as not allowing society or insanity to be blamed.
