Ella Mae (Lewis) Picott, of the 6200 block of Holy Neck Road, died July 29, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Picott was a housewife. She was a native of Isle of Wight County, Franklin, and a member of Life Line United Church of American, Franklin, where she was involved with the Pastor's Aid and Missionary.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Picott; two daughters, Virginia M. Brown Murphy of Franklin, Jean P. Brown Hairston of Chesapeake; a son, Curtis D. Brown of Suffolk; two sisters, Virginia Lewis Lawrence of Franklin, Gladys Lewis Manns of Baltimore, Md.; four brothers, Marion Lewis of Chesapeake, Fitcher Lewis and James Ellis Lewis, both of Baltimore, Joseph B. Lewis of Long Island, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Ella Mason Lewis and Fitcher Lewis.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Siani Baptist Church, Holland Station, Suffolk. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is in charge.
