Elizabeth Windley Butt, 86, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996.
She was a native of Suffolk and had been a longtime Seaford resident. She was an Episcopalian and was also a retired legal secretary.
She was predeceased in 1978 by her husband of 50 years, C.C. Butt; and is survived by her sister, Mary Windley Wooster of Miami, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Peninsula Memorial Park by the Rev. Pamela C. Webb, assistant rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Newport News. Peninsula Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
