Mary Edna Royal, 70, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died July 31, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Benson, N.C., and a retired seamstress from JC Penney.
Survivors include a daughter, Tommi Lynn Brauner and her husband, James Dennis Brauner of Harleysville, Pa.; a son, Jeffery Lyle Royal of Richmond; a brother, Howard Tripp of Florida; and two grandchildren, Lindsay Allyn Brauner and Jennifer Ashley Brauner, both of Harleysville, Pa.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association.
