Robert Lee Greene, 83, died Thursday, August 1, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Greene was born in Gates County. The son of the late Jonas and Mrs. Estelle Harrell Greene, he was a retired farmer and a member of Eure Christian Church.
Surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eure Christian Church by the Rev. Wayne Whiting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and all other times at the home of Mrs. Nellie Ruth Hill in Eure.
