Nancy Louise ``Bill'' French, born Sept. 6, 1918, and a native of Bluefield, W.Va., died July 31, 1996.
She was a member of Aragona Church of Christ, Virginia Beach. Mrs. French was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. French; four sisters; and five brothers.
She is survived by a son, Jerry D. French and daughter-in-law, Katie French of Clarksburg, W.Va.; three grandsons, Parrish French and his wife, Sherry, of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Travis French of Virginia Beach, and Derek French of Clarksburg; a granddaughter, Annette French of Clarksburg; six sisters, Bessie Hughes of Baltimore, Md., Verna Poe, Blanch Saunders, Mary Wright, all of Bluefield; Tottsie Matthews of Dearborn, Mich., and Rosie Gilmore of Houston, Texas; and also a great-grandson, Nathan French of Cross Lanes, W.Va.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Virginia Beach. The services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
