Lawrence Allen Zachman, 63, of the 500 block of Forrest Ave., died July 31, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Zachman, a native of Chicago, Ill., retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service. He was the widower of Norma J. Zachman and a member of American Legion Post (NU)60.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Anderson of Germany, Sherry Hamilton of Neosho, Mo.; a son, Mark Zachman, and his wife, Marwa, of Norfolk; two brothers, Paul Zachman of Montezuma, Ind., Bill Neal of Oregon; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Hyman Vann. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons.
