Morris Meade Raike, 60, of the 2900 block of Bayview Blvd., died July 31, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Charlestown, W.Va., Mr. Raike was a self-employed insulation contractor and he was a U.S. Marines veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ida W. Raike; a daughter, Lisa Dawn Ganzenmuller of Niceville, Fla.; a son, Mitchell Ray Raike of Portsmouth; three sisters, Betty Weigle of Kentucky, Margie Cross of Georgia, Sonja Stockman of Fargo, N.D.; five grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Jessica Rae, Tyler Meade and Robert.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Nelson Fields. The family will receive friends at 203 Maryland Ave., Portsmouth.
