Carl David Coleman Sr., 48, of the 2600 block of Norris Lane, died August 1, 1996, in Norfolk.
A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Coleman was plant manager for Cytec Industries, Plymouth, N.C. He was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church, America/Fellowship Masonic Lodge (NU)148 and he was an avid sportsman.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie B. Coleman; his mother, Mildred Pierce Coleman of Portsmouth; a daughter, Tandy Rae Coleman of Chesapeake; a son, David Coleman of Chesapeake; two sisters, Dianne Coleman, Brenda Coleman, both of Portsmouth; and a brother, Robert Coleman of Immokley, Fla.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Westhaven Baptist Church by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
