Alice McDorman Sutton, 78, of the 1400 block of Stuben St., died Aug. 1, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Sutton, the widow of Lloyd J. Sutton, was a native of Shenandoah, Va. She retired from Stewart Sandwiches as a processor. She attended Bethel Assembly of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Serena L. Dail and Delores S. Reynolds, both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Doris Jean Ballance of Lowland, N.C., Betty Brewer of Central Point, Ore.; four brothers, Harry McDorman of Shenandoah, Leo McDorman of Portsmouth, Stewart F. McDorman Jr. of Norfolk, Archie McDorman of Miami, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Pete Taylor. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
