Myrtle Gaylord Harrell, 94, of the 1000 block of Warwick Ave., died Aug. 2, 1996.
Mrs. Harrell, the widow of Henry Lewis Harrell, was a native of Norfolk. She retired from Warren R. Lambert Co. as a secretary. She was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church and the Nellie Bible Circle. She was also a member of World War I Widows Chapter (NU)5.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Lewis ``Skip'' Harrell Jr., and his wife, Yolanda, of Seneca, S.C., Emmett L. ``Larry'' Harrell of Norfolk, and daughter-in-law, Sgt. B.P. Carter of Norfolk; five grandchildren, Barry Reason, Mike Harrell, Barbara Ann Davenport, Julie Harrell and Patricia Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Morris Bennett in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
