Doris Virginia Anderson House, 85, of the 200 block of 64th St., a retired school teacher, died August 2, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. House was born in Virginia Beach. She was a lifelong member of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach, and a lifelong member of the A.R.E.
Survivors include a daughter, Caroline House Freeman and her husband, J. David Freeman, of Virginia Beach; a son, Thomas Burr House III and his wife, Nancy, of Fayetteville, Ga.; a sister, Lois Anderson Farr of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; three grandsons, Thomas Michael Freeman of Suffolk, James D. Freeman of Wrightsville Beach, N.C., and Peter Anderson Freeman of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel. Burial will be at the Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery following the service.
