Floyd Lee Wilkins Sr., 67, of Cornland Road, died Aug. 3, 1996.
Mr. Wilkins was born in Norfolk County. He was the son of the late Herman and Mamie Wilkins, a member of Victory Blvd. Church of Christ and the Grassfield Ruritan Club.
He is leaving his wife of 44 1/2 years, Naomi; three daughters, Marsella Conner and husband Carey, Rosemary Hughes and husband Billy, Mamie Hahn and husband David; a son, Floyd L. Jr. and wife Debbie; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Mary Frances Adkins of Portsmouth, Norma Sage of Union Bridge, Md., and Shirley Gene of Florida; two brothers, Ray T. Sr. and Sidney, both of Chesapeake; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Wilkins of Chesapeake and Jennie Lea of Suffolk; and many nieces and nephews.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is in charge. Mr. Wilkins will be laid to rest in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Services will be held at Victory Blvd. Church of Christ Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the minister James Sprinkle. Viewing will be tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers or donations may be made to Hospice Foundation or the Cancer Foundation.
