Christina Marie Coleman, 40, of Virginia Beach, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was born May 31, 1956, in Norfolk. Mrs. Coleman worked for 13 years as a waitress at Captain George's Restaurant.
Survivors include her husband, Clark Coleman; a son, Clark Ryan Coleman; a sister, Jennifer Pendergraft of Virginia Beach; her mother, Jacqueline Pendergraft of Virginia Beach; father- and mother-in-law, Clark and Helene Coleman of Sedley, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Jocelyn L. and her husband Andy Fleetwood of Franklin, Va., and Lisa R. Griffiths and her husband, Tim, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; two nieces, Ashley Rafter of Kill Devil Hills and Marlena McCormick of Franklin; and a nephew, Jacob Altman of Kill Devil Hills. She was preceded in death by her father, George Pendergraft.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at 2025 Thomas Bishop Lane, Virginia Beach. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Christina Pendergraft Coleman Fund, c/o First Union National Bank, 1613 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. Arrangements are being handled by Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel.
