Ada Clark, of the 2700 block of Myrtle Ave., died Aug. 2, 1996, in a local hospital.
A native of Pitt County, N.C., she was the widow of William Clark. Mrs. Clark was a retired dietician of the Norfolk Public Schools.
Survivors include two daughters, Margie Gay Eley of Norfolk, Deloris Gay Cherry of Chesapeake; three sons, Joseph Gay Sr., Morgan Robinson, both of Norfolk, Chester Gay Jr. of Portsmouth; two sisters, Esper Hayes of New York, Frances Rouse of Farmville, N.C.; a brother, J. Joyner of New Haven, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mt. Zion Community Church by the Rev. Willie McNair. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo<
