Mildred Dunn Foxwell, 72, of Fox Hall, died Aug. 7, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker, a worker for the Norfolk public school system and a longtime volunteer at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Foxwell is survived by her husband, Philip M. Foxwell; five daughters, Jacqueline Falkenham of Norfolk, Linda F. Haase of Glen Allen, Va., Phylle Foxwell of Williamston, N.C., Cynthia F. Finley of Norfolk, Robin F. Griffith of Fulton, Texas; and eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Hamilton of Alabama, and Mary Ellen White of Quinton, Va.; a brother, Robert Dunn of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Hampton Roads Chapter, 20 Koger Executive Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
