CHARLES W. BRADSHAW

Charles Wesley Bradshaw Sr., 62, of 1073 Carolina Road, Lot (NU)29, died Aug. 7, 1996, in Obici Hospital.

Mr. Bradshaw was born in Southampton County, Va. He attended Paul D. Camp College and received his degree there. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a production shop planner with more than 30 years of service. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Suffolk AF & AM (NU)30, Suffolk Moose Lodge (NU)141, and served as associate guardian and treasurer of Bethel (NU)28 I.O.J.D. of Suffolk. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn P. Bradshaw; a daughter, Connie B. Funicelli; two sons, Charles W. Bradshaw Jr. and Rodney H. Bradshaw, all of Suffolk; a brother, R.H. Bradshaw Jr. of Franklin, Va. He was the son of the late Rufus Hurley and Florence Bryant Bradshaw and was predeceased by a sister, Edith M. Bradshaw.

A graveside service with military honors and Moose rites will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Stewart McCarter. Friends may join the family in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times in the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
