OLYMPIC MEMORIES

Not only was I captivated by the Olympic activities, I was also mesmerized by the faces that displayed the smiles, tears, anguish and happiness, all the faces of ordinary and extraordinary people. - the millions of onlookers and participants whose faces shown with joy, happiness, ecstasy, sadness, disappointment, graciousness and acceptance.

Nor will I forget the faces of fear, horror, shock, unbelief, anger, hurt, sadness and sympathy when the bomb exploded.

Nor the faces of determination, dedication, resurgence, revitalization and victory when the games continued.

Thanks, Summer Olympics, for the enjoyment and wonderment of it all.
