Ronald Travis ``Coon'' Green, 37, died Aug. 9, 1996, in a Richmond Hospital.
Mr. Green was formerly employed with Newport News Shipyard as a welder. He was a former member of Third Baptist Church and formerly served on the Youth Usher Board and Cub Scouts.
Survivors include his mother, Marion G. Green; two sisters, Joyce A. Green and Charlene Allen, both of Portsmouth; three brothers, Franklin R. Green, Tony K. Green, James ``Eyes'' Green, all of Portsmouth; three nieces; three nephews; uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming in Third Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will be at 1434 Green St. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
