George A. Nelson, 74, of the 2700 block of W. Landing Road, died at his sister's home Aug. 10, 1996.
Mr. Nelson was Lutheran by faith and was a self-employed tile setter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rasmus N. and Olivia A. Nelson.
Mr. Nelson is survived by a sister, Barbara N. Gray; a brother, Robert L. Nelson; two sisters-in-law, Hazel D. and Joyce B. Nelson, all of Virginia Beach; three nieces and six nephews.
Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
