ROBERT G. BROOKS

Robert G. Brooks, 82, of the 100 block of Glendale Ave., died Aug. 10, 1996.

Mr. Brooks, a native of Blacksburg, Va., retired from Naval Facilities Engineering Command in 1972 as an engineering technician. He was the widower of Dorothy R. Brooks and a member of Park Place United Methodist Church. He was a member of 32 degree Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; Shrine Khedive Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S.; and a founding member of the Glenwood Park Civic Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Genevieve B. Seguinot, and her husband, Mark, of Fairfax, Va.; a son, Robert G. Brooks Jr., and his wife, Pamela, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Willie Girsch of Norfolk; three granddaughters, Genevieve R. Price of Fairfax, Kelly M. Brooks and Meredith C. Brooks, both of Virginia Beach; and three grandsons, Charles C. Russell of Raleigh, N.C., Chris Seguinot and Michael Seguinot, both of Fairfax.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
