Stephen L. Burgett, 14, of the 1700 block of Hancock St., died Aug. 9, 1996.
He was born in Norfolk.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy M. Price; father, Stephen L. Price; stepbrother, Shea Anderson of Newport News; grandparents, Charles and Thelma Burgett of Norfolk; and great-grandmothers, Lucy M. Kelly of Norfolk and Mary M. Avery of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Burgett and grandmother, Mary L. Price.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Good News Family Worship Center by the Rev. Levy Willis II. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1756 Hancock Ave. Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements.
