Martha B. Artis, 81, of the 2800 block of Vincent Ave., died Aug. 7, 1996.
Mrs. Artis is survived by a twin sister, Mary Cuffee of Norfolk; seven children, Mrs. Shirlee Gates, Nathaniel Artis of San Diego, Calif., Mary Dupree, Samuel Artis, William Artis, John Artis and Floretta Parker, all of Norfolk; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Bethel Baptist Church. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
