EMMET E. WARD

Emmet E. Ward, 81, of the 200 block of Rogers Ave., died Aug. 11, 1996.

Mr. Ward, a native of Albany, Ga., was retired from the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Flora Alexander Ward; a son, Ray Alexander Ward of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elizabeth Bull Hinson; a niece, Susan Ann Hinson; and three grandchildren, all of Albany.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Fellowship Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald O'Dey. Memorial donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 419 Glenrock Road, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
