The missing 13-year-old girl who ran away the day before she was scheduled to testify against a youth in a juvenile trial has been located.
Lewis Smith found his daughter, Yasmin-Renee Natasha Smith, Saturday night in the Azalea Gardens neighborhood, according to a relative. The girl had disappeared from a relative's home in the Norview area early Aug. 4.
Her father said he thought she ran away because she couldn't face going to court to testify again. Her testimony already has helped convict two adults and five juveniles. by CNB
