Melvin Millard Smith IV, of the 1100 block of Hillside Ave., died Aug. 7, 1996, in a local hospital. He was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include his parents, Antonia Foster Smith and Melvin M. Smith III, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Sandra Nadine Renee Foster and Shanice Ida Smith; maternal grandparents, Sandra Foster and Anthony Foster; paternal grandparents, Melvin M. Smith Jr. and Ida Cleamons; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Anthony Moses in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Graves Funeral Home for a procession to the gravesite at 10:15 a.m.
