Edward A. Sargent Jr., 49, formerly of Grandy, N.C., died Aug. 8, 1996, in Gulf Coast Hospital. He was a former sales manager of Hoffman Beverage in Virginia Beach.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; a stepson, Kenneth Wilkerson of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Kathleen and Christine Sargent of Long Island, N.Y.
Memorial service will be private. Contributions may be made in Edward's memory to your choice of a children's charity.
