Evelyn Marie Eriksen, 69, of the 4700 block of Rutledge Road, died Aug. 13, 1996.
A native of Brawley, Calif., she was the widow of Leroy A. Eriksen. She was a member of DeBaun Memorial Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Carey of Joplin, Mo., Alesa Watson of Redlands, Calif., Debbie Milby of Westminster, Calif.; a son, Eric Eriksen of Chesapeake, Va.; her mother, Kady Crum Preston of Downey, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, George N. Preston.
Burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif. The body was sent to Rose Hills Mortuary, Whittier, for funeral service and burial. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, handled arrangements.
