A 19-year-old motorcyclist who ran a red light in Norfolk and hit a
car Wednesday morning was in stable condition in Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital, police reported. The cyclist, Kenneth W. Knight of
the 200 block of North Donnawood Drive, Virginia Beach, was speeding
north on Boush Street about 8:15 a.m. when he ran the light,
striking a Toyota crossing Boush at Olney Road, police said. Police
identified the Toyota driver as Stephen Blair, 43, of the 400 block
of Moordale Drive, Chesapeake. He was not injured.
