Willie F. Mitchell, 53, of the third block of Dewitt Court, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1996, in James River Point Medical Center.
Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, George T. Mitchell Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Eliza A. Mitchell of Virginia Beach; two sons; a daughter; three brothers, George R. Mitchell of Williamsburg, Va., Johnny E. Mitchell and his wife, Regina, of Virginia Beach, Joseph M. Mitchell of Virginia Beach; and three sisters, Mrs. Willard ``Shirley'' J. Stewart of Chesapeake, Rebecca A. Mitchell of Toano, Va., and Mrs. Quintin ``Margaret'' E. Jones of Virginia Beach.
A visitation will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Virginia Beach on old Great Neck Road today from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Rev. E. Ray Cox Sr. will be officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
