Betty Washburn, 54, of the 1500 block of Wood Ave., died Aug. 14, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Washburn, a homemaker, was a native of South Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Howard K. Washburn; a daughter, Donna Washburn of Norfolk; a son, Bruce E. Washburn of Dilwyn, Va.; three sisters, Daisy Phipps, Ginger Marshall, both of Chesapeake, Jackie Chappell of Virginia Beach; a brother, George E. Hollomon of Columbus, Ohio.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Pete Taylor in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at 1937 Robert Hall Blvd., Apt. 5110, Chesapeake.
