Bertha May Adams, 65, of the 700 block of Stockleybridge Drive, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Adams was born in Stamford, Conn., and was the daughter of Evelyn Fox of Stamford and the late James Costello.
Other survivors include her husband, John E. Adams; her daughter, Kathleen Diane Weaver of Chesapeake; her son, Glenn Allen Adams of Norfolk; her brother, James Costello of Stamford; and three grandsons, Justin, Chris, and Jonathan.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. Internment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
