Christine Leland Rosenberg, 76, a resident of Mathews County and Gloucester County for 23 years, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1996, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, Gloucester.
Born in Topeka, Kansas, she was the widow of Adm. Edwin Miller Rosenberg and a member of Ware Episcopal Church in Gloucester.
Survivors include two sons, Eric M. Rosenberg of Ware Neck and Lee Rosenberg of Virginia Beach; and four granddaughters, Courtney, Andrea, Briana and Tyler Rosenberg.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ware Episcopal Church by the Rev. Daniel O. Worthington Jr. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Gloucester Library, P.O. Box 367, Gloucester, Va. 23061 or Leland Bowditch Scholarship Fund, c/o Gloucester High School, Short Lane, Gloucester, Va. Andrews Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
