Frank Lee ``Frankie'' Gayle Jr., 42, of the 200 block of Pond Drive, died Aug. 20, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Gayle, a native of Nansemond County, Va., was a maintenance manager for Planters/Nabisco. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, Suffolk.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah King Gayle; two daughters, Shannon Michele Gayle and Kendall Brooke Gayle, both of Suffolk; his mother, Peggy Smith Gayle of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Terry G. Smith of Zuni; two brothers, Scott H. Gayle of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and James E. Gayle III of Orion, Mich. He was predeceased by his father, Frank Lee Gayle Sr.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Dr. Merle D. Correll and the Rev. David Wilson in Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk. Burial will be in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at 821 North Liberty Spring Road, Suffolk.
