Police and volunteers fanned out over East Ocean View on Wednesday night looking for a missing 5-year-old boy.
Alex Harris was last seen about 6:30 p.m. while on an outing with his grandmother, siblings and neighbors at the East Ocean View Recreation Center at the end of 20th Bay Street. The boy suffers from a mild form of Down's syndrome.
The boy is described as light-skinned with reddish-tinted hair and was wearing a red polo shirt and black sneakers.
