Vyester Brown Tucker, 82, widow of Sherman Tucker, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1996.
She was a native of Isle of Wight County and member of Main Street Baptist Church, Smithfield.
Survivors include a daughter, Delphia R. Tucker of Virginia Beach; a son, Quinton B. Tucker of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Elnora Hudson of New York City; two grandchildren, Kim J. Robertson of Virginia Beach and Christopher Tucker of Fayetteville.
A funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Main Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Quentin J. Smith. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Zuni. The body will be in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. A visitation will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. today in Pretlow and Chapman Funeral Home, Smithfield.
