Thelma Emma Williams, of the 700 block of W. 27th St., died Aug. 17, 1996, at her residence.
A native of Norfolk, she was a domestic and attended First Baptist Church, South Hill, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia M. Wright of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary Watford, Doris Garnes and Estelle Ferebee, all of Norfolk; two brothers, William Beale of Baltimore and Luke Beale of Norfolk; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Henry Wright Jr. of Norfolk; two stepsisters, Ruth Williams of Chesapeake and Elsie Lewis of Maryland; stepbrother, Alfonzo Jones; an uncle, Jesse Beale of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church, South Hill, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Michael Tolliver. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 10:30 a.m. Monday at 710 W. 27th St., Norfolk, for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
