Beulah Daughtry Futrell, 88, of Roanoke Valley Nursing Home, died Aug. 22, 1996, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Born in Northampton County, N.C., she was the widow of Julian E. Futrell. A homemaker, Mrs. Futrell was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn F. Jernigan of Lewiston Woodville, N.C.; two sons, Carroll E. Futrell of Conway, James Burgess Futrell of Jacksonville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Waddell Futrell.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Garrett Funeral home, Rich Square, by the Rev. Blake Hayes. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home of Carolyn Jernigan in Lewiston.
