Annie Tompkins Fisher, 86, of the 100 block of W. Retta St., died Aug. 23, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Fisher was the widow of Frank Thomas Fisher. She was retired from the F.A.A. and was a member of DeLeon Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Thomas, and her husband, Charles, of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The body was transported from the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, to Carpenter Funeral Home, DeLand, Fla. for services and burial.
