William H. Netherland Jr., 45, of the 800 block of N. George Washington Highway, died Wednesday Aug. 21, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mr. Netherland was born in Norfolk and was the son of Thomas N. Moseley Sr. and Mildred Lewless Moseley. He was a member of Indian River Baptist Church.
Other survivors include his companion, Toni Karas, his son, William H. Netherland III, two sisters, two brothers, and two grandchildren, Holly and Drake Netherland, all of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. John T. Dearing. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
