Mary G. Norris, 78, of the 2500 block of Cove Point Place, died Aug. 22, 1996, in her residence.
Born in Hyde County, N.C., she was the widow of Earl W. Norris.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Worth of Douglas, Ga., Lettie Strother of Virginia Beach; a son, Luther Grantham of Norfolk; two sisters, Molly DeLaHoussaye of Mansura, La., Emma Tinglan of Norfolk; a brother, Buddy Boomer of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Larry Davis in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 6 to 9 p.m.
