ROSA V. LEHMAN

Rosa Viola Lehman, 83, of the 2700 block of Lehman Pines Road, died Aug. 22, 1996, at her residence.

Mrs. Lehman was born in McMinnville, Oregon, and was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Katie Beiler Troyer. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church for the past 64 years and was involved with Northern Youth Missions from 1976-1981.

Survivors include her husband, Jacob Risser Lehman Sr.; her three daughters, Kathryn Broadwater and her husband, Reid, of Prospect, Va., Viola Dickerson, and Elsie Miller and her husband, Kenneth, all of Chesapeake; a niece, Esther Mast and her husband, Robert, of Chesapeake; her five sons and their wives, Paul and Joan Lehman of Prospect, Harold and Sally Lehman, Jacob R. Jr. and Carol Lehman, Mark and Dorothy Lehman and Robert and Sandy Lehman, all of Chesapeake; her two sisters, Edna Kramer of Stoneboro, Pa., and Martha Yoder of Georgetown, Del.; her five brothers, Ora Troyer of Emerald Isle, N.C., Levi Troyer of Cochranton, Pa., Paul Troyer of Marshallsville, Ohio, Emmanuel Troyer Jr. of Shipshewana, Ind., and David Troyer of Greenwood, Del.; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church by the Rev. Amos Esh, Rev. Harold Bergey and Rev. Robert Mast. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may join the family on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, 2041 Mt. Pleasant Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23322.
