Minnie Elizabeth Webster, 80, of the 800 block of Norview Ave., died Aug. 23, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Webster was born in Norfolk. She was a charter member of Norview Presbyterian Church and was a member of Westminster Chapter (NU)99 and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a past president of Norview Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Webster of Norfolk; a brother, Forrest L. Fentress of Manteo, N.C.; a grandson, Carl E. Swartz of Yulie, Fla.; a great-grandson, Carl E. Swartz Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Shannon Swartz; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Madeline C. Swartz.
A funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. by Dr. Vernon Murphy in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
