Frances Marshall Owens, 79, of the 2000 block of Chesapeake Ave., died Aug. 24, 1996.
Born in South Norfolk, Va., she was the widow of Chester H. Owens. She was a member of Portlock United Methodist Church and Niners Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include two sisters, Merle Young of Norfolk and Evelyn Tatem of Chesapeake; and a brother, Walter K. Marshall Jr. of Rocky Mount, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Ellen Comstock in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel today from 4 to 5 p.m.
